Senior Consultant & Commercial Analyst

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or Finance

• 5-10 yrs experience within the Oil & Gas industry as a business analyst

• Ability to work legally in Canada

We are focused in helping businesses to transform their trading, marketing, risk, operations, and risk management functions centered around advanced analytics.

As a member of Qi team, you will tackle the most challenging commercial analytics problems facing the industry. When you work at Qi, no two projects will be same! You could be working on projects ranging from modelling market dynamics in the energy and commodities space using advanced data science to providing commercial risk/reward valuation on a complex asset or deal structure using real option theory and quant models.

You will be a key member of the Qi team expanding our “Analytics Talent Cloud” offer where we partner with our clients to support, compliment, and expand their commercial analytics capability.

What you will need to succeed:

• Passion for learning new skills, markets, models, and software.

• Being relentlessly useful in helping our clients to growth and expand their commercial capabilities.

• Ability to think both strategically around commercial opportunities but also getting your hands dirty building models, coding them using the program of your choice, and deploy them in the cloud as an interactive web App or API

Travel Requirements:

• Travel to client site and Occasional travel within Canada and US is required.
